"made by a small team"

"was made by a team of only 60 people"

a celebrated game by a small team of "only" 60 people embedded in a studio with nearly infinite money

anyway entirely unrelated factoid did you know kitsune tails was made by a core team of only four people?

idk man i know posting this is probably a bad look but i dont care. im so over breathless coverage of the hot new "indie" game made at, promoted by, and paid for by a giant megacorporation with over an order of magnitude more people working on it than actual indie games. fuck off

it's retailing for the full AAA release price of $60 too, you can't make this shit up. stop letting AAA appropriate the word indie

"Sixty person development team indie game" that's more people than the core development team for Halo: Combat Evolved

I don't check reviews for my stuff often, hence me only seeing this now when it was posted last week, but I'm always so happy to see reviews like this. Very glad that Don't Take It Personally, I Just Don't Like You has gotten almost exclusively positive responses like this so far.

Prior to launch I was very scared that some of the turns the story took were going to lose people, especially when things started to get heavy in the back half of basically every route. I'm so thankful that there is an audience of dating sim fans who are willing to interact with some pretty rough subject matter, and I'm thrilled that they feel that the game handles it in a way that is emotionally resonant and rewarding.

Can't wait to get the other two routes out to y'all.
