Hey all! I’m DeCoster (They/Them). For my day job I work at a public interest tech lab based out of (unspecified large New England academic institution), where I assist with various projects related to voter registration, data privacy, and other related issues.
At night I do game dev stuff, mostly visual novels at the moment. My largest project is a dating sim called Don’t Take It Personally, I Just Don’t Like You, which is now in early access with three out of five character routes fully implemented and ready to play. There’s also a free prologue on itch.io!
Aside from all that, I’m a massive horror movie fan. I love the creepy slow-burn psychological stuff, crazy eighties and nineties slasher movies, and basically everything in between. You can catch me in the theaters watching a new (usually horror) movie every week.
My other hobbies include cooking, painting, taking walks and hikes, and spending time with my wonderful partner.
