making backend stuff is the worst (which is hilarious bc that's the bulk of my professional experience)
That's the stuff I both like and am good at. I've been tricking my idiot brain with a social media client I've been writing by also writing a Lispy abstraction layer over GTK as I build the UI out so it's also middleware, and somehow this is kind of working because brains are weird and dumb
CLI is superior anyway, says the person who also has that exact same problem.
(Doesn't help I've never found any UI library that wasn't absolute cancer)
