It sucks we're forced to play the game (for now) in this system, and a lot of us are stuck in shitty situations for survival, but those shitty situations are NOT who we are. We may have to put up with them, but that shouldn't stop us from finding joy with our creative outlets whatever they may be, time with our friends, and uplifting the community we have together.
It may not pay the bills, (pass the trans girl $20) but in the end it's a whole helluva lot more important.
I'll get through this, even as I stare down yet another rejection.
And we will get through this together.
