Right, like, there's definitely, guaranteed an LGBT community in Palestine. The oppression of any government cannot stop LGBT people from existing. So when people say that "Palestine is homophobic" with the implication that this means what Israel is doing is somehow okay, they are effectively condoning the systematic execution of all LGBT people in Palestine, for the reason that their government doesn't like LGBT people...?

Which is honestly unsurprising from the people who spew that kind of rhetoric. "Palestinian government doesn't like gay people so gay people should be genocided by colonizers."

These are the same people who would happily condemn anyone in a Republican-controlled state to violence and death for the crime of living in a Republican-controlled state. The fact that the same rhetorical trick can be used to drum up support for genocide and imperialism in two ways in this case...
