Pretty wild to me that Like A Dragon has both a better edgy Pokemon and a better edgy crafting game in it than Palworld

i do not know how people muster up so much effort for shit they arent playing. please just play a game you like instead of posting, you know?

I also don't care about Palworld but I do feel the need to say, while we're on the topic, that I bet you could make a killer "Pokemon but with guns" if you had a real budget and, like, gave a shit. My entire pitch is just "Make it an open world game like Legends: Arceus, set it in the American Wild West and give the player old Browning/Colt guns but make them nonlethal because everything is nonlethal in Pokemon including like fire and lava and getting hit with spikes and other stuff that totally would kill an animal. Also you should play as an outlaw gang so you're like, the bad guys in this one, but in a fun cartoon way where you aren't evil or murderers you're just sorta asocial and then play that up for laughs".

You'd probably have to ignore, uh, all of American politics during the era. But like. I assume the [Pokemon America Equivalent] Civil War didn't happen in the Pokemon universe so that's not a difficult thing to do.

Also they already set a game during the Meiji Restoration with overlaps w/ the American Reconstruction temporally so it's not like we're opposed to doing time travel bullshit to specifically the 1870s.
