One of my idiosyncratic things I've done online forever is that every so often I go through my list of blocks for a website or whatever (or my Usenet killfile WAY back in the day) and see if any of them were overreacting or unfair. For the very few blocks I have here on the eggbug site, so far I have had zero (0) cases of wanting to unblock any of them. Damn fine website.

thinking about how Reddit has a "block this post" button, but it also has a section in your profile that lets you scroll down posts you've blocked - if you ever blocked a post for, say, having an auto playing video with sound, you're going to remember in a split second why you blocked it. 😅
i haven't yet had to block anybody since moving away from Twitter, but we'll see how long that record holds.
