one of these days I'll be on time

I didn't forget about everything, but that does happen sometimes. I did forget about Everything, a philosophical documentary zen experience from 2017.

There's a bit in a Deep Space Nine episode where Odo is messing around in a garden taking various forms around him, attempting to understand what it is to be those forms. That's pretty much Everything. Whatever is in sight, or hidden above or below you, is something you can simply exist as, just because.

"You see that mountain? You can go there." Or in this case, just be the mountain. You can be the continent the mountain is on, or roll around the ground as a pill bottle listening to Everything's collection of Alan Watts recordings. Move up to the galactic or down to the subatomic and out the other side again. Talk to a mote of dust or a star about their lives.

Put your controller down for a few seconds and Everything with play itself, becoming sort of a complicated screensaver, if screensavers occasionally made philosophical interjections and earned you Steam achievements. A case could be made for it in this state as a nightly wind-down game or general relaxant. It's really been working for me as both.

I don't really do star ratings and this isn't really a review but hey, if these concepts tickle your brain a bit, consider Everything, or everything.
