Dead Space-esque dream where I was on this ship with clean white walls and grey nonskid(sandpaper) floors listening to the captain give a speech about how proud he was to announce that our asteroid mining mission was actually cover for salvaging/looting a lost research ship that had been out in space for so long that it had gathered enough debris and dust to look like an asteroid. Sadly my alarm went off right as the spooky shit started happening 😔

The vibe was different though, like the whole crew was in on it and excited to start picking apart the Science onboard... and then the usual supernatural weirdness started happening (objects moving/levitating and getting written off as an artificial gravity malfunction specifically comes to mind). Almost closer to Event Horizon, actually

In all honesty tho, that is a cool ass plot and I am going to maybe probably use it. I love the idea of giant advanced vehicles and machinery just like coming out of the woodwork. Like ancient research bunkers or crashed ships in jungles, giant wrecks peeking out of shallow water, or massive plains with the corpses of robots, trucks, and runways with decaying delta wing sstos littering the area
