i have my journal configured to pull my entry from the previous year as an idea of how far I've come

and it turns out that for today, it appears to be the one year anniversary of when i started using vrchat for more than solo exploration

which was a pretty important step in becoming slightly less anxious
and much more creative, even if i don't always recognize it as such

and the irony of being worried about waking up at 4am being a hinderance to chatting at EU friendly times
rather than the only way I'll get to speak to some US friends

Woke up at 4am, which means I might not be able to do the VRChat meet tonight.
...
Finally got to go to a furry VRChat meet after being anxious about it all day. Got to be pet, give pets, use ScottC's Goodra once I was actually able to get to the avatar world hosting it, and generally have a chill time with the people there.
It makes me want to get an avatar commissioned (...and the ability to rescale it) - but also from some explorations earlier to get prepared, it's also made me again realize the potential of it as an alternative to noclip.website - explored the Smash Ultimate version of Kalos Pokemon League for example, which is absolutely huge to make the perspective work. Also explored Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp - which is notable from also being on Noclip - I think the grounding of actually having to walk to places does help in observing the details.
...
Left without saying a proper goodbye though; after moving into Tsumuri Kart, the Oculus Quest lost tracking and everyone had hopped into another world portal.
If I don't get someone to make something based on either SlapYouWithFish or the Koboldal base, could create a PS1 style low poly model, maybe? Maybe look at Spyro's model (or Crash's) and replicate some of the techniques to the extent I can.
One of the avatars also had paw sneakers, and I feel like that would be a good option.
