it feels somehow entirely more depressing that not only did Target pull the pride merch from stores, that they like actively made it un-buyable. If you find pride merch still at a Target you can take it up to the register to try and buy it and it will not let you. And of course you can't just take it! That's still Target:tm: Property:tm:. It will be taken back by an underpaid employee and then shoveled into a compactor at the rear of the store, reduced to a convenient trash cube:patent pending: to be taken to the closest landfill.
