i do often worry like i'm doing personal knowledge management "wrong" (in particular, a tendency to still write monolithically rather than atomically if i don't catch it), but i feel like the approach here of trying rote reviews to generate insight is a really wrong way to go about it
how obsidian helps me is usually by resurfacing an idea in an unexpected context, whether by it coming up in the search, through implicit backlinks, or accidentally seeing it in the tangled web that is graph view
but i suppose i make a lot of notes just for retention
