it's interesting to think, for a device we will likely not even be able to try for many months, much less purchase if we decide to do so at all
that we're already changing behaviour to adapt
we're trying to take more panoramas
and even with the lower resolution, if we're taking videos static in one spot, we're trying to take spatial ones more often; need to try converting some and see what they look like in the index
we haven't cancelled the slime vr tracker order, and sure, that's partially because it'll be useful under blankets at 5am 1 ... but also partially because we could see the server app running in vision pro for a completely standalone experience
(assuming of course that vrchat and slimevr could actually be on the app store on there due to the "don't say VR" rule...)
i can't think of many other devices where behaviour has been nudged before even a solid idea on if we'll buy or wait for a later generation.
perhaps console launches discouraging purchases on other platforms (still haven't bought Tears of the Kingdom from assuming there'll be a DX version near Switch 2 launch)
