We are now the hosts and maintainers of Data Crystal, a wiki primarily focused on ROM hacking, reverse engineering, and fan translations.
Previously hosted by ROMhacking.net, Data Crystal is an 18-year-old wiki that is now getting some much-needed TLC.
What's changing with Data Crystal?
A few things! New extensions have been added to bring the wiki up to speed and add features. Subpages have been converted to MediaWiki's standard and made easier to navigate. Templates are being added and updated to help organize everything. Hopefully, with a stable host and active maintenance, Data Crystal can become a wiki full of internal game details.
What does this mean for TCRF?
Not a whole lot. We've added a new category with two channels in Discord for discussion and wiki updates, but beyond that, little. TCRF and Data Crystal accounts are separate and there is no intent to merge the two.
