that magical time of year when artists who don't usually draw macro experiment and find out the pain of drawing buildings, and people explore what it means to be big
we've told this story elsewhere, but macro has been an obsession since long before what i knew what a furry was; daydreams of giants running alongside double decker buses.
but i felt like i couldn't tell anyone for so long
even once we started commissioning art, we initially assumed macro to be [REDACTED]'s territory only; dex was originally meant to be more grounded; untouched, unsullied.
this lasted approximately 2 commissions including the ref sheet.
it's just too big a part of us, and we're so glad we were able to share it
and hopefully we've in some way encouraged people to be more open as well
