hmm so looking through Intel's offerings there's a cloud fundamentals thing that is probably on par with the really basic shit Microsoft puts out, and I already have experience with Azure

Then there's a cert that is for a "Cloud Solutions Architect" which they claim is intended for architects with at least 2 years experience in the field. I do not have this. I'm just a stupid sergal artist.

...but there's no real indication that i can't use the free exam coupon for the more advanced CSA exam instead, and there's a 90 day free trial for the course itself

and now I'm wondering if I can fake being intelligent enough to waltz in and say yes of course i have 2 years experience, lay it on me, baby. also, give me your fingers. you can trust me with fingers, too

what the heck is a cloud solutions architect anyway?

we have an on-prem VM hosting a legacy application that needs to be lifted, shifted, and secured; access to manage only via a S2S VPN or a bastion, a single port open for application access

define the infrastructure
define the networking, including the requirements for the load balancer in front of it
define the templates and other components to help transform this legacy application into a subscription based SaaS product
define how we'll automate our deployments

I've had a little bit of experience with vmware, albeit an ancient copy of it. idk how much of that would translate over to possibly spinning up special instances for legacy shit that needs to be deployed and served from high-side, but i don't imagine a furry porn artist walking in off the streets would be allowed to do this stuff as entry level even if i do know some of the words

(your pfp is heckin cute btw)
