The pawshoes are a big component!! But so's the abstractness of scale. Those bars could mean aaaanything...OR of course they could just be bars on a graph, in which case there's this odd sense of relative power, e.g. "you're still part of/contained within a computer program but short of closing the program I'm completely unable to stop you fiddling with whatever if you get bored".
unless of course, whatever edits to the graph i make suddenly take effect :3
