i am trying to stay off twitter these days for obvious reasons
but i will give the algorithmic timeline one thing (when i go to it rather than just checking notifications)
it has successfully managed to combine "this user has an interest in VR, and is a furry", and the result is that it keeps finding new rexouiums (as an open species that primarily exists within VR) with their paws facing the camera
every other day or so, a new photo of those, from different accounts, sometimes macro, sometimes not - i have no idea if they take photos of any other part of the avatar, but if they are those ones aren't being recommended
(it's better than another ad, at least)
i have nothing against the species, of course (at least, the tosca version, my understanding is the original model creator is shitty - but the tosca version is there so you don't need to give the creator of the original model money)
i have friends that love theirs, a headmate that may choose it when we finally get them an avatar
just, there are substantially cuter things about it than up close photos of The Beans
