one of the things with personal knowledge management is the recommendation for atomic notes rather than monoliths
the concept each note should be as small as it should be while still being complete, with some recommendations recommending no more than one scroll deep, or a rule of thumb like "if it has a H5, then it's time to split it out"
even 2+ years into doing this, i'm never quite how sure to face it, particularly for older notes that were created as monoliths or lists
