saw a tweet/xeet/whatever by disgraced dilbert creator scott adams the other day, making a further disgrace of himself
and all i can think of is remembering that teen us had not just the dilbert collections, but his fucking non-dilbert books as well, despite never having seen a cubicle
glad we grew out of that, but still, got us thinking about how easy it would have been to have things go wrong
we've spoken before about the mental hangups caused by being on something awful from probably a younger age than we should have been
but to give one positive thing from that (aside from the standard ex-goon story of turning out to be a trans furry), it did keep us well the fuck away from the chans and reddit 1
(at least, reddit during its wild west years, prior to it becoming the last bastion of search results)
life is a series of coin flips, dice rolls, however you want to spin it
and those haven't always come out in our favour, but i'm glad most of the important ones have worked out in the end
