Steam Wishlist Removals

up:: Steam Wishlist
On 2023-03-10 we started the process of cleaning up our Steam wishlist.
This page houses the games that didn't make the cut - often due to a better game in the genre I've still yet to play (e.g. I do not really want to play a QUILTBAG story heavy game in RPGMaker before I finish Super Lesbian Animal RPG).
# - 9
- 199X - meta game in RPGMaker, don't think I necessarily need to play this at this point
- 6180 the moon - 2D platformer with the main gimmick being screen warping between top and bottom
- 868-HACK - roguelike that I can't fully understand how it's played just from looking at the page. Might like it if I tried it?
A
- A City Sleeps - Harmonix, bullet hell shooter with a soundtrack rather than being driven by it - but fundamentally still a bullet hell game.
- A Legend of Luca - early VR roguelike, I feel like other games will probably provide better experiences now.
- A-10 VR - it's a different take on Space Pirate Trainer.
- Abode - it's a 1hr escape room game. Considering how badly I did the Sam & Max - This Time It's Virtual! one, probably best avoided.
- Ace of Seafood - a game about cybernetic fish shooting each other. Reminds me of Earth Defence Force, but those games apparently play better. Might still be worth it in a bundle.
- Advent Rising - an old AA game that I've always been curious about... then re-read that the devs worked with Orson Scott Card, so that's probably best gone.
- Always Sometimes Monsters - QUILTBAG friendly story driven RPG Maker game, but those just aren't what I'm looking for right now.
- Anomaly 1729 - 3D puzzle game about exploring a near abandoned dimension, lots of cyber aesthetics, but eh.
- Apollo 11 VR - a VR educational experience, something i think made more sense during the early days of modern VR.
- Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan - 2D action RPG, but just doesn't seem too fluid, I'd rather replay Dust - An Elysian Tail first.
B
- BarrierX - it's Race The Sun but faster and more neon.
- BasketBelle - basketball based 2D puzzle platformer.
- Batman Arkham VR - WB published, and it's a short, expensive experience.
- Battlezone Gold Edition - VR cyber tank combat, but reviews imply it might be too hard/uncomfortable.
- BEARZERKERS - it's Wrath of Cortex's atlasphere levels except local multiplayer and you're trying to avoid being eaten by a bear. Has been in early access since 2015.
- Before the Echo - rhythm based RPG - store page does not make mention of accessibility features if you're bad at rhythm games, so finish Hi-Fi Rush before even considering.
- Below Kryll - 2D platformer RPG with a lot of user generated content, but I feel like Terraria would be the thing to play first/compare it to.
- Bierzerkers - this is a MOBA, what was it even doing here
- Big Action Mega Fight - indie beat 'em up, likely for a time when I was looking for something after Scott Pilgrim. There are other beat 'em ups I should play first.
- BIT.TRIP Beat - This was the studio's first BIT.TRIP game, and I think it might be better playing some of the later ones. Including the ones that are already in my library.
- BLARP! - VR game that basically replicates having a ball and chain to swing at things. Doesn't seem like there's much to it, and I imagine Gorn would provide more satisfying macing.
- Bloons TD5 - While I'm curious from Shyguymask's videos, Bloons TD6 is out, and I think I'd only really get tower defence games if bundled, when I can play some within Flashpoint if i really need a fix.
- Blue Toad Murder Files: The Mysteries of Little Riddle - this was a set of PS3 exclusive mystery games that I was curious about at some point, but until I finish The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles...
- Boo Bunny Plague - this feels like an indie take on Ratchet & Clank, but I feel like there's probably more polished examples? On the other hand it's ยฃ1.60
- Bound By Flame - Focus Home Interactive RPG with lots of decisions to make... but I still need to finish New Vegas at some point :p
- Brut@l - it's a take on Nethack with graphics made out of 3D ASCII art... but I could play Nethack if I wanted to. (Or for that matter, Caves of Qud)
- Bullshot - it's Contra, but at least from the screenshots, it's pretty hard to parse the visuals.
