i liked the windows Metro ui, and i've just set windows 10 to be full-screen Start as such, i've been setting up tiles how i want em

no i do the same thing, but i have the excuse of once being a zune/windows phone 7 user

but if i'm not typing to search, it's an app we use all the time, you build up muscle memory for where those things are located on the grid... at least until you use a different monitor

(i think the drive has died since the last time i used it :x )

it did just need more juice!!

i did look up how to replace the hard drive and how to get the software updated now that MS has stopped hosting updates - but honestly, a lot of the value this has to us now is as a time capsule; a reminder of some good years and some very bad ones - that no matter how bad things got, we still had music.

i could if i wanted to purchase an ssd and upgrade it, but there would be little point; we value our local music collection but the phone stores enough of it if we want to stick things on shuffle while travelling
