Jailbreaking your 3DS is not synonymous with piracy, no matter how popular it may be to do so for that end. Here's a non-exhaustive sampling of some cool things you can do with your fancy little 3D clamshell computer.

As someone who did this when it was way harder to do and then had to do it again to bring all my shit up to date - I gotta say the guide, as long as you didn't install the most recent official 3ds firmware, is pretty foolproof and straightforward for anyone that has a little bit of tech knowledge.
