The first Kuš comic I read was Kevin Hooyman’s Elemental Stars, which is great—Hooyman delightfully transposes all-too-human neuroses in otherworldly pastel whimsy, rendering a world where the grandiosity of the spirit struggles with the immediate surroundings of its social self.
