My current work-in-progress, in case anyone is wondering, is a slowly-developing collection of about fifty one-page comics, each drawn by a different artists, the pitch to which being “in the late 80s, ten years after the death of a famous European cartoonist, 50 creators pitch revivals of his magnum opus.”
Meaning:
-50 divergent creative visions -of a completely nonexistent franchise that the readers will only know about through those contradictory second-hand prisms -all of them meant to read like they were feasibly made about 35 years ago
I’m slowly figuring out the particulars to this, so it’ll be a while before it actually happens, but this would—completely theoretically—be serialized on social media, one page at a time.
It’s a lofty task, but it’s something I very much want to do. Hopefully people will want to see it happen as well.
