For real though Kain is just a less interesting Leon, Tellah is just Minwu, and Edward is just Gordon with less character development. The story of 4 doesn't have the stones to commit to killing anyone off and it's the least flexible Final Fantasy for how you build your party because the game decides it just knows better than you.
