people who say "Go indie!" have never seen an indie salary vs industry standard. i remember being fucked up miserable at my last job, and a friend showed me a job listing for a unity dev position for a Certain Project That Fucked Over A Talented Artist You May Be Familiar With and I was like. "Dog that's half the expected pay for where I live."
