The AI video "memes" making the rounds lately like the Mario one and now the cat video genuinely confuse me. Like, shitty AI memes are nothing new but these "videos" feel... insanely basic? Like even putting aside yhe fact theyre AI, there just isnt any real jokes of any value, and yet people are eating this shit up and doing redrawd n shit like this is somehow fresh and new

Like its not even good from a "haha! Lol random!" absurdist pov. The mario one is basically a slideshow of jokes youd see like 10 years ago and the cat one honestly seems devoid of any actual joke at all.
