Fenkin are feline-like, boot-wearing spirits that devote their entire lives to an unending obsession; finding the biggest leaf, testing every doorbell, collecting and reading every personal diary, the list goes on!

They're always on a quirky quest that never has a tangible end.
Nobody quite knows where Fenkin come from.

Some theories say they’re manifestations of lost forces of will, created from human obsessions.

There's only one way to defeat a Fenkin: all of their boots must be removed. Without their precious boots, their bodies dissolve to ash.

Think you can find another way to stop a fenkin? Support Little Wolves!

Rottlings are a mischievous type of Found Soul. Sometimes, impatient souls will bind themselves to raw root veggies before they're prepared as magically preserved vessels. They’re known to bite, kick shins, and tip over plant pots.

In time a rottling’s body will rot away, but until then, they tend to play pranks and get into all sorts of trouble. Sometimes they pretend to be mandrakes by screaming when they’re unearthed to scare unsuspecting gardeners.

There’s a rumor that one of the local goblins is actually of a stack of rottlings in a trench coat. Will you help investigate?

Candlewick, sometimes called The Village for Found Souls, is home to many kinds of denizen, including the proverbial Found Souls, which are spirits that have found a vessel to embody or place to call home.

Meet Squash Puppy, Pumpernickel, and Calabaza! 🎃 They've recently become Found Souls. They're still learning how to use these new bodies they cherish and could use some help settling in.

During the Festival of Flames, wandering Lost Souls are called from the edges of the realm to the town’s center and granted a chance to pick a vessel handcrafted from the year’s harvest.

Want to meet a Lost or Found soul, and grant them aid? We need help making Little Wolves a reality.

One of our goals with Little Wolves is to make sure the system is approachable while still having depth, so we decided to take a spin on one of our favorites: the classic d6 dice pool!

as with everything we do, we aim to make sure core themes are reflected in play. To land this we made the target flexible and dependent on what Element you’re channeling during a task.

The element in question is determined by how you’re doing something; what the vibe is, so to speak. Each element has different emotional/approach touchstones, and the one that aligns most with your action is the one you’re aiming for.

Passionate or invigorated? That might be fire!

Charismatic or curious? Sounds like Water to me!

Speaking of elements, each court has strengths & weaknesses with a different combination of elements. The Pumpkin Court, for example, is strong in Fire but weak in Water. This means they gain an extra die when approaching something with a Fire affinity, but they lose one when they’re embodying Water.

This, combined with werewolves’ spellsongs and mortal powers, creates a dynamic but simple resolution system with a lot of flexibility (and sometimes mischievousness!) that leans into the whimsy and wonder we’re aiming for in Little Wolves.
