We’re officially in the final 7 days of Little Wolves’ crowdfunding campaign! If you haven’t backed the project already, now’s the time to help make our realm of folk & fae a reality~

Beyond thrilled that we reached our first stretch goal - we can pay our artists more for more art!!! Thank you!!! We're also super duper close to getting a second free sticker with everyone's physical rewards, just need about 6 more backers. I KNOW YALL WANT A CUTE HULLABALLOO STICKY, CAUSE I SURE DO. <3

One of our goals with Little Wolves is to make sure the system is approachable while still having depth, so we decided to take a spin on one of our favorites: the classic d6 dice pool!

as with everything we do, we aim to make sure core themes are reflected in play. To land this we made the target flexible and dependent on what Element you’re channeling during a task.

The element in question is determined by how you’re doing something; what the vibe is, so to speak. Each element has different emotional/approach touchstones, and the one that aligns most with your action is the one you’re aiming for.

Passionate or invigorated? That might be fire!

Charismatic or curious? Sounds like Water to me!

Speaking of elements, each court has strengths & weaknesses with a different combination of elements. The Pumpkin Court, for example, is strong in Fire but weak in Water. This means they gain an extra die when approaching something with a Fire affinity, but they lose one when they’re embodying Water.

This, combined with werewolves’ spellsongs and mortal powers, creates a dynamic but simple resolution system with a lot of flexibility (and sometimes mischievousness!) that leans into the whimsy and wonder we’re aiming for in Little Wolves.

Getting roleplay games to print is expensive. And I (Jam) wanted to include extra reward goodies for those able to support us in that big money way. We needed to decide on something lightweight that wouldn't hurt shipping costs, it had to be special, cool af, or at the very least could make for a nice gift to give to someone else.

I decided on art prints! Not just any art prints, but something I learned a new skill for: carving and stamping with lino-blocks. The Gazing Moon print was re-carved three times 😅 but the Shifting Folk design went well on the first try. After stamping and stamping and stamping, I picked my favorite outcomes, scanned them, then arranged and colored them digitally. Much more carvings and stamp making happened that week - I am hooked!!

I'd really, *really* love to send off inky-fresh originals to every backer, but I had to take a step back because I had to be reasonable, haha (on top all the fulfillment packing I'll be doing - it would get overwhelming 😅)

I am committed to hand signing and numbering them though. These are still special. 💚Printed once and then never again. To make them a little more special, we polled our discord community and had them decide on the final colors for each print. I'm glad we're able to slip in these goodies for y'all, a lot of love went into them.

For the first 48 hours of the Little Wolves campaign starting May 14th, anyone who backs at a physical reward tier will get a free signed & numbered Shifting Folk mini art print:

For anyone who picks up the Limited Edition hardback reward tier, they get a free signed & numbered Gazing Moon art print:

And, for anyone who gets the big Enchanted Bundle (it comes with all the add-ons w/discount), they will get both prints regardless of when they pledge.

Thanks for all the support y'all. Even if it's not the financial kind, every little bit of 🎉 goes a long way for small creative businesses. 💖
