Was a good time, the final few levels were a bit bullshit at times but not so much that it ruined the whole experience. Now i gotta figure out what I want to play next. I have Dead Space 2 but I also got the Remake because I really liked the original. 2 would make the most logical sense but I'd like to also see all the changes the remake made. Hmmm.....
I played the original Dead Space first in 2008 but I didn't really get past the first chapter because I wasn't vibing with it at the time and thought it was just "Resident Evil 4 but in space". Funnily enough, my thoughts on Dead Space just being RE4 in space is still true but my attitude went from one of disdain to one of going "wait, that sounds cool as fuck. why would i hate that???"
The moral of the story is, your 18 year old self was probably wrong about a lot of things and you should try things your 18 year old self hated again just to see if you still feel that way. Growth as a person, what a concept!
