I like Cohost, but I feel like that's more of a case of personal compatibility between one person and one website, and less of a "Cohost is the best social media platform ever" kind of thing. I pretty much only post here nowadays, mostly because I find the other platforms exhausting, not because I'm trying to push other people to use it.
If you see a post of mine that you like, you have my full permission to link or screenshot it on the other platforms. I only ask two things:
- Please do not censor my avatar or username. I post everything publicly for the public internet, so it feels uncomfortable when people try to protect my privacy without my consent.
- If you're sharing a screenshot of a text post, please copy the text and add it as a transcript. I want my posts to be accessible to everyone regardless of whether they're sighted or not.
