I just typed "edible flowers" into Google and it suggested I use their experimental AI powered search. Why is that the query that triggered the suggestion? Asking which plants are safe to eat is like the worst time to roll out any kind of experimental knowledge collation engine.

if it's because a few posts on the subject went viral, leading to a slight uptick in people googling edible flowers and mushrooms lately to get screenshots of horrible AI advice/ChatGPT ghostwritten books, that would be extremely funny and entirely predictable
the problem with the "paperclip maximizer" scenario is that it isn't NEARLY stupid enough
