Remembering the time on Tumblr when a radfem got big mad at me for talking about masturbation. In passing. In a post that wasn't even about masturbation, I just used masturbation, along with sleep, as an example of an activity that people typically do at home during leisure time.

Short answer: because masturbation is an Evil Man Activity. Longer answer is something I plan to write more extensively on, about a stumbling block a lot of people run into when they try to deal with overwhelming social problems.
