Realizing that a lot of the "furry porn is an easy way to make a lot of money" stereotype is probably based on people being stuck up prudes and being shocked and morally offended that furry porn artists make any money at all, at which point "a little extra side cash" is indistinguishable from "enough money to buy a mansion". Come to think of it, this applies to sex work in general.

Yep. See also: the way people talk about OnlyFans performers like their job is easy and lucrative and the only reason the poster doesn't do it themselves is personal integrity
(totally not fear of putting themselves out there in such a vulnerable way and then making five dollars)
