A distressing online experience is when I post about some trans experience and a cis woman pops up to say "yeah that's also what it's like being a woman". It doesn't inherently mean they're an evil terf but it's kind of mask off for the ways cis people are conditioned to think of womanhood in ranked tiers of authenticity.

I hate the “welcome to womanhood” or “welcome to being a woman” comment because like when I was one year into transition that was affirming but when I’m Eleven Fucking Years Into Transition it’s like you’re a Bit Late. Welcome to the neighborhood you moved into over a decade ago
