You can add more glamour to your selfies if you picture yourself as simultaneously a model and a photographer, and then, crucially, the photographer-self waits for the model-self to turn to the camera and then takes the photo. This is the inversion of the procedure most of us learned from family photographs, where the subjects all have to smile and wait for the photographer. It's a trick I use to look more natural, and also more in control, two parts of what we think of as glamour in photos.
