back when the site was first going you would get in and still have to wait to be verified to post, but you could share to your heart's content and that would show up on your page. i really should have made a series of posts that were just a single letter and see if anyone used em to type out words along dozens of shares.

This idea reminds me that, in a college data security class, they talked a lot about different ways to smuggle data out of a system. At the time, the classic example of doing this without using a normal communications channel was an anecdote about a spy translating data to spaces and line breaks, and sending the result to one of those enormous green-bar-paper printers...then sitting outside the room and copying it down like Morse code, leaving behind just an empty printout.
