What is a defining moment in your WoL/OC's career? Something they did that truly represents them?
DISPATCH FROM AMAUROT - AD INTERROGATIONEM
0808 BELLS - DIE 21 - ASTRAL MOON 5:
SUBJECT:
Regarding the Measure of Conviction
POLICY: Quaestio Diei
What is the measure of your conviction? How do you determine the lengths that you are willing to go? We all exist in an amalgam of a thousand thousand shards in this place. My reality of origin was far divergent from the vast majority, as I am a shard of Igeyorhm rather than an Azem, and I eschew the title Warrior of Light. I played the part in my reality, and I played it well. Taking the mantle of Hydaelyn's Advocate. I was tempered by her even as so many of my comrades fell under the sway of Zodiark. So, in a sense, I truly did fill Azem's role. My path though, was different, up to a point. There were moments of convergence. but certain things-
shakes her head
Regardless of all that, a moment in time that defined me, that truly defined my conviction to this? My defection from the Convocation, certainly. My defection from Garlemald, absolutely. I think though, it was a conversation with Elidibus on the moon.

「Time? What matter is time to us?!」
Time is everything. Time is all we have.
「Glib and flippant.」
Was I ever not? You know they never look at that phrase from the other side, until it's all too late, and the little remaining time is all they have left.
「You've changed.」
Have I? Perhaps this is as I ever was. You've had one sustained existence. I have lived lifetimes, and even for one that exists seemingly without end, time is all we have. Precious time, to love, to lose, to heal, to sorrow.
「Meaningless.」
How much have you forgotten in time?
「...」
「Your path pains you.」
Yes, I know, I chose my path, and her cause, when no one else would.
「You knew it would come to this.」
I did, and I shall ever lament what I must do. There is no returning to what was. All we can only ever do is move forward, and cherish the time allotted to us upon our beautiful star.

I think, more than anything, that conversation, with resignation upon both our parts, was one of the most defining moments.
