Cookie dough made! Dark Chocolate Chip Pecan, now it needs to rest overnight.
Dark Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies
1/2 cup white sugar1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 cup + 2 tablespoons APF
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks
Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together.
Seperately mix sugar and butter until creamy.
Mix in egg and vanilla with sugar mixuture until thoroughly blended.
Add in flour mixture in thirds, making sure each third is thoroughly incorporated before adding the next.
Finally add in nut meat and chocolate chunks until incorporated.
Transfer dough into a container you can cover and place in the fridge to rest overnight or for a good several hours.
Put cookie dough in a tablespoon of dough sized drops on a lined baking sheet about an inch to inch and a half apart from each other.
Bake at 350 for 10~13 minutes.
Also, if anyone does decide to use that recipe. My oven is from the early nineties. Your time and temperature requirements may vary slightly. Also humidity, sea level, solar flares, vernal equinoxes... it's baking.
