As much as I love this platform, I'm struggling to work within one aspect of how cohost exists - the fact that "if you want it, post it" is the lifeblood of how interchange happens.
The problem is, for me, that I really struggle with ideas for myself in terms of content. It takes a lot of mental effort a lot of the time to sit down and pull a coherent thing out of my head, and my own particular sensibilities are still such that I don't like just throwing things out there for the sake of it. I want to make contributions, or engage with other people that do.
Hopefully, I'll get over that with time. But for now, it makes me do a lot of hand-wringing whenever I post something here. Until I feel more confident that what I have to say, matters? I'll mainly be responding and engaging with other people's posts. Which is fine! I just wish it were easier for me to feel like I'm building community with my own ideas and contributions.
