oh yknow, just casually being able to see windhelm from halfway across the map. few ruins ive already explored.

i typically avoid these LOD mods in other games since seeing everything with the naked eye isn't always better (see the GTA remasters for example) but skyrim's coastline helps the effect work. it enhances exploration like nothing else if it's your first time i imagine; if you see it, you can go there.

i wish skyrim didn't have the taxi cart that teleported you to all the holds. fast-travel, sure no issues, but i thought oblivion's "walk there first you lazy bum" middle-ground was a good idea. it takes very little time for skyrim to feel more like a bunch of icons than a world.
