Croc's still a beautiful-looking game on the PS1 so it's nice to see a remaster keep things relatively authentic. higher framerate, cleaner textures and a resolution bump: done. that's all you need! we can finally move on from the N-sane/Reignited era of completely unnecessary changes.
i can't wait honestly, both to revisit a childhood classic and to see a whole new generation get filtered by tank controls again.
adding modern analog im guessing, which is nice but the original had a form of it too and the levels are not designed around them it all. 90% of the time, if you're watching someone struggle with Croc, they're using analog.
