if you didn't know, Cyberconnect2 are a japanese dev studio known for loads of games, mainly dothack and anime fighters. their most important series (as far as im concerned) is Little Tail Bronx, a long-running collection of games starring furries all in the same universe. you might've seen the recent FUGA titles, that's them.

naturally the devs themselves are also HUGE furries and for a while actually published kemono fanzines! they're all in japanese and require some nasty finagling on foreign sites to grab but oh my god, thank you again Internet Archive. i love this art so much.

(warning: the zines are very very very very horny in places. if it helps it's horny for everyone, who wants some bara)

i wish there were scans of brian swords' paintings, i would kill to have the second one as a desktop background. looked everywhere but no luck.

it's a shame his work was used as john oliver comedy fodder, it kinda overshadowed his genuine talent. especially the shading and sense of place it conveys.
