Hey... I'm in need of help with rent again this month.

I did get some unexpected assistance from my mom today, which leaves a me needing $300 more. It's due on the 5th, but needing to transfer it around makes getting most of it tomorrow more ideal. A little extra would help with a couple other bills coming up, but I'll try my best to steadily earn money with art this month anyway. I just need to catch my breath.

I'm requesting this kind of late, but I've been kind of a mess mentally. I really, super appreciate any help.

Edit_1: Apparently some of that money my mom sent me is for me to order her something... So maybe that higher goal is more necessary.

Edit_2: She said to forget ordering anything for now, so that helps

im learning so much about where all these familiar videogame characters took inspiration from, going through classic films. Daxter is a significantly more annoying Timon, Pinstripe from Crash Bandicoot is a very unsubtle ripoff from Roger Rabbit and every single canadian stereotype i've ever seen came from Fargo.

Fargo's pretty good, didn't love it on the same level as its hype but still a fun subversive noir.

ok, well, um, so, just learned that not only is fargo located in north dakota, not canada, but it's also, as it turns out, interestingly, A Real Place. well. fascinating that. what a fun bit of trivia for quiz night. i don't know this fucking country.

what is it with console publishers always getting weird with their third iteration's advertising? sega made the bizarre saturn ads etc.

my favourite's sony. the playstation 1 & 2 were remarkably on the pulse with their marketing pushes, but then for the PS3 someone went "i want a haunted baby doll to lift it with telekinesis and start laughing and crying. this is my artistic vision. the people will understand the universality of my message."

i like to think an executive walked into the marketing department one day and found a whiteboard with THE HUMAN CONDITION scrawled over it.
