i love coloring BUT i hate like 90% of coloring pages i can find online because they're either AI generated garbage or filler someone probably generated or stole to use as filler in amazon self publishing get rich quick schemes. and youd think something like etsy would have good ones, but no its all of the above. gumroad? more of the same. it doesnt help that im pretty picky too so even when i find Genuine Art By An Artist its usually not really my thing. i like detailed lines and usually isolated objects, not really scenery. im about to get into making my own coloring pages and putting them out there for people like me

I have ran into this issue too! I like to color, but I struggle to find coloring books/pages that I actually like. There are a lot of coloring books where I like the design/concept, but I find the pages to be either way too detailed or not detailed enough. I actually never considered that a lot of the ones on Amazon are possibly AI art. Several years back my mom had a coloring phase and some of the books she ordered were absolute dog shit. Like the paper was basically cheap printer paper and the lines were either blurry, pixilated, or both.

Yeah if you look on gumroad for "coloring page" like over half the results are stuff like "700+ pages interior copy for Amazon KPD projects" and it's all just ai/stolen stuff that's shitty quality so people can self publish a billion coloring books on Amazon and make pennies on each sale to get rich quick
