im.... really bad at backups. i rarely ever make copies of a file. i live on the edge. to that point, i also dont delete anything like ever. i probably have every original file of a commission ive ever done on my external harddrive (of which i work directly off of if im on desktop (DONT DO THIS)). maybe someday ill wise up and stop assuming ill never experience data corruption or lose my belongings to any outside force. /shrug

I am like this too tbh and I know I should be way more responsible but--
The other month I was having a hard time getting my laptop to boot and uhhh apparently if you hold the power button on a Chromebook too long it factory resets it??? So. I lost all the files, but thankfully anything super important was backed up/downloadable again.
(btw this happened over a year ago and I still haven't learned anything about getting better at backing up my files)
