One of my favorite Stormlight Archive world building details is that everyone is made very uncomfortable by meteorologists because trying to predict the weather is too close to trying to predict the future (forbidden by religion) and also it involves science, math, and even a secret writing system which is seen as women’s work and men doing it is very queer. But being able to predict the path of storms is really important so everyone just has to tolerate these fruity little weathermen.

oh yeah i read multiple brandon sanderson series back in high school! i don’t remember many details from them though haha
yeah the last i remember reading was calamity from the reckoners series. i remember we were excited about oathbringers a few years earlier but got too busy with school to read it at the time it came out
