bittersweet??? t
found out my 1:1 student I've worked with for 3 years and was intending to work with for at least 4 more....is moving to another city a few hours away. I'm honestly really sad, I love working with this kid and we've made amazing strides and she takes a lot of effort to get used to how to talk to her, all stuff I did! and now she's moving away :(
I think I'm going to make a document for her next teacher that describes how I did things and what works and what doesn't work etc so that she has the best possible chance at a good education going forward. she's easy to slip through the cracks.
but the sweet end is that I get to stay at my current school! previously I was going to move to a high school with my 1:1 but since that's not happening I get to stay at the middle school! which is way less stressful for me
