I've always loved creating random fictional people and I don't really mean like OCs, I just mean like a hypothetical person who probably exists. Right now I'm rotating in my mind Marlene, she's 39, has 2 kids and a husband. They just closed on a house thanks to her husbands cushy job. She was a SAHM but they needed some extra money so she does gig work but also sells press on nails. She has psoriasis and it's her whole personality on Instagram. when her daughter was 9 she thought it was cute to be in Mom's videos but she's 13 now and doesn't think it's cute anymore. Her son is 17 and a wheelchair user after a school snowboarding trip accident. they settled out of court for it and managed to not be in mountains of debt over his medical bills, but they did need to move into a single story house after it. She has a shi tzu mix named Fontaine. She met her husband in college, they were both pre-law (she didn't finish her degree, but her husband did. she got pregnant and decided motherhood was more important to her). She likes nail art, musicals, and cozy cabin imagery type stuff, like snow and cocoa and Christmas.
I will probably never think of Marlene again. but the fact that she could exist out there is very exciting to me. it's like playing god on some level, like I'm just willing this Sim of a person into the world. 8 billion people out there and maybe I just described one exactly, who knows.
